Wine Connoisseur picks his favorite (and affordable) wines for Spring.

Perhaps you haven’t noticed, but more and more fine wines are appearing on the shelves with screw caps. It is, of course, the best way to seal a bottle of wine and I am slowly becoming a believer. However, I still love the pop of the cork and the whole kind of “romantic” ceremony of uncorking a bottle of wine. Don’t you agree that a great bottle of wine deserves a little foreplay?

So, you ask, why I am bringing this up? As it turns out, two of the wines I have chosen to recommend have screw cap closures. They are the first two listed below.
