The Perfect Picnic

My husband will tell you that one of the reasons he loves me is that I embrace every day like it’s a picnic. And I admit it’s totally true. I would rather spend my free time traveling a short distance with good food and great friends than doing housework or having the oil changed in my car. When I organize a picnic, he’s usually the last person to know about it. That’s because when I do tell him, he says, “Again? Didn’t we just do that?” I would spend my life picnicking if I could, but bills have to be paid and they say education is a good thing for kids. So I limit my outdoor eating to the occasional picnic here and there, saving the best ones for White Sands.
